Sydney Stokoe

Sydney graduated from the Prosthetics and Orthotics clinical program at BCIT in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, and a Masters of Science in Rehabilitation from McMaster.

Prior to entering the O and P field, she worked as a kinesiologist at the Alberta Hip and Knee clinic, working with patients pre and post-joint replacement. She completed her Orthotics residency at Lethbridge Orthotic and Prosthetic Services, where she worked until 2022. She and her family relocated to the east Kootenays in 2023 to be closer to the activities they love to do.

Sydney has spent time volunteering with the CADS ski programs in both Calgary and Vancouver and has instructed rock climbing and cross-country skiing for both children and adults. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time climbing, skiing and biking with her family in the East Kootenays and beyond.
