After graduating from the BCIT School of Health Sciences in 1984, Kees practiced at Regina’s Wascana Rehabilitation Centre for the next fifteen years.
“Working in a comprehensive treatment centre for physical rehabilitation gave me the opportunity to gain experience in all disciplines of prosthetics and orthotics.”
In 1999, the thought of a private practice and mountain living drew Kees and his family to the Kootenays, where he set up RMPO and became the only certified practitioner in the area.
With over 38 years of clinical experience, Kees has also served as a national certification examiner in both disciplines with the Canadian Certification Board since 2010..
